Friendship Bracelets

Many years ago my mom showed me how to make friendship bracelets. To be honest it took me a long time to find a figure out how to make them properly. I made all the classic mistakes tying my fingers and knots, getting the length of this string incorrect. Even when I was halfway through a bracelets I would get totally confused meaning I would have to start all over again. These are all the classic mistakes that people are only starting out making these do.

There are many different types of friendship bracelet patterns available. In my day when I was younger it was quite difficult to find these a trip to the local bookstore was a nice way of reading the on how to make them because the books were quite expensive and I was young and did not have a job to pay for them. Nowadays it is obviously much easier as a lot of children now have access to the Internet. Simply searching the Internet for patterns can open up a whole new world because of the ease of use of many websites you'll find that many children that make bracelets will also put this information on the Internet for everybody to use.

I have starches teach my own child to basics. And to be honest she is catching on very quickly.  Last week she was looking at a video on you to put on how to make them. It's just so easy now compared to what I was doing it. But, one thing I can say is that I still remember and have never lost interest in making them it's amazing that I can now pass this on to my own child and hopefully something that she will remember for the rest of her life.
